Connor is a multifaceted guitarist, educator, and stage technician with a passion for both performance and production. He graduated with dual Bachelor's degrees in Guitar Performance and Composition from the University of Idaho in 2018, where he also competed in the prestigious Northwest Guitar Festival.
For over 3 years, Connor taught guitar at Five Star Guitars, one of Fender's most trusted retailers in the United States, known for its award-winning service and high-quality instruction. There, he worked with students of all skill levels, helping them grow as musicians through a personalized and supportive approach. Additionally, he has taught hand drums & auxiliary percussion to younger students all across the Portland, Oregon area. His teaching draws on a broad foundation of musical styles, with personal specialization in classical guitar and heavy metal.
Beyond teaching and performing, Connor has built a parallel career in stage technology. He has worked on high-profile productions throughout the Seattle area, with standout moments that include operating the spotlight for Slipknot and supporting large-scale events for artists such as Taylor Swift, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Elton John. His technical knowledge extends to instrument maintenance as well; he has installed and fine-tuned his own Floyd Rose system and is well versed in guitar setup and repair.
Connor continues to explore the intersection of genres by arranging music from film, television, video games, jazz, and heavy metal for classical guitar, showcasing the instrument’s emotional and dynamic range. Whether on stage, behind the scenes, or in the classroom, Connor brings a wide-ranging skill set and a deep love of music to every project he takes on.
